About GB Round Rock

“I opened Gracie Barra Round Rock to bring the official GB curriculum to Williamson County — family-first, ego-free, and run on the same system used at more than 1,000 Gracie Barra schools worldwide. Master Carlos Gracie Jr. founded Gracie Barra on the principle that Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone willing to step on the mat — every age, every body type. That principle sets the standard in our room on East Old Settlers Boulevard: a three-year-old in Tiny Champs, an adult in the lunchtime class, a teenager rolling in Juniors, and a day-one beginner who started last week — all training under the same curriculum, led by Professor Andre Sena and our team. My job is to make sure every one of them is on the right mat.”

— Professor Fabio Villela, Owner

Located on East Old Settlers Boulevard near Old Settlers Park, Gracie Barra Round Rock is Williamson County's home for structured Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The academy is owned by Prof. Fabio Villela — a Gracie Barra 4th Degree Black Belt — and led day to day by head instructor Prof. Andre Sena, whose name comes up in review after review from Round Rock families.

Jiu-Jitsu here is for everyone, from the youngest students in Tiny Champs (ages 3-4) through teens, adults, and dedicated competitors. The age-banded kids program — Tiny Champs, Future Champs, Future Champs II, and Juniors — gives children in Round Rock a structured path that builds confidence, focus, and discipline at every stage, with each child training alongside a true peer group rather than a mixed-age class.

For adults, the curriculum is the same proven Gracie Barra system taught at more than 1,000 schools worldwide — which means steady, measurable progress whether you are stepping onto the mats for the first time or training for competition. The women-only class offers a dedicated, supportive room for women at every level, Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Round Rock is one of the fastest-growing cities in Texas, and the academy reflects it: students drive in from Pflugerville, Hutto, Georgetown, and the neighborhoods around the Dell campus. A free first class is the standard way to start — no contract, no pressure, just an hour on the mat to see if it fits.
